Extrasys hosts and manages key software for Bailey Teswaine's BT contract
Even before Extrasys was acquired by Bailey Teswaine the software for managing jobs on the BT contract — from assigning Bailey Teswaine's engineers through to billing BT — has been hosted by Extrasys. The fact that the software can be controlled and accessed remotely and securely was a key factor in Bailey Teswaine keeping the BT contract as it enables Bailey Teswaine staff to work permanently on BT sites without installing software on BT's local network.
In 2007 the Extrasys team took full administrative control of this business-critical application, initially supporting, maintaining and repairing it, and later developing it. Now our software architects are helping to replicate the application's functionality and develop a better system that is fully integrated with Bailey Teswaine's core financial software systems.

We use Q&D, a bespoke software application which has a Microsoft Access frontend interface and a SQL backend database. Its functionality and code base were mostly undocumented by its original developer and it required frequent intervention by an expert administrator to keep it going. Extrasys were not familiar with the system at all but they have taken it over, learned how it works, and made some very useful modifications to it that have made our operation run more smoothly."
