London, 21st August 2008.
Extrasys, the hosted services arm of Bailey Teswaine, today announces publicly its new partners programme. Three partners have already been signed up with more to follow in the coming months.
For the past six months Extrasys has been changing its business model from direct to channel. The market was researched, target channels identified, potential resellers consulted, reseller prices set, processes adapted, marketing materials produced and legal documents written and rewritten.
In July 2008 three managed IT providers agreed to become Extrasys channel partners, and a dedicated marketing campaign is now underway to attract more resellers and referrers. See www.extrasys.com/partners for details.
Extrasys comment:
"Hosted IT has still to gain mainstream adoption in the UK, but industry observers are all agreed that the time has finally come for such 'cloud computing' services. There is more awareness and understanding of the technologies now, and in a struggling economy, business owners are looking to cut travel, hardware and staffing costs by purchasing managed remote working solutions. Our partners understand all this as well as we do, which is why they are so keen to resell or refer our products and communicate the benefits of per user per month remote computing to their new and existing customers."
